Cone snails are best found in the Western Indo-Pacific region1.
In South Carolina, there are Gastropods like whelks and moon snails3.
However, cone snails are also found in Myrtle Beach State Park3. These snails have deadly venom, which is being studied for potential medical treatments in Charleston, South Carolina

Fire Dept Disaster Preparedness Seminar on August 20, 2025
Lt. Tom from the Murrells Inlet / Garden City Fire District gave a talk about staying safe during hurricane season and disaster preparedness. He handed out literature and a book on safety that are available to see in the clubhouse.
Labor Day Picnic on Monday September 1, 2025
Great turn out for our Labor Day Picnic. Bingo followed the picnic and had 17 players. Fun for all!
